Cute little quarter back

I just love this picture of Spencer. He's on the go so much these days (not walking yet though) and by giving him the football, I was actually able to get him to stay in one place long enough that I could take his picture!

Word 4 - Innocence

I've struggled a bith with a word this week (thus my being two days late). I've been feeling uninspired and unhappy with my selection of photos to choose from.

This is the closest I could find to portray innocence. A child colouring with crayons from a brand new box!

Dr. Phil's secret identity & an interview with Mr. Cheese

Dr. Phil has a secret. Aparently, Dr. Phil really isn't who he says he is. Finn is convinced that he is none other than Farmer Pickles from Bob the Builder! He (Finn, not Dr. Phil) has been working his best "cheese" face for the camera. So now, instead of running away from me when I want to take his picture, he gives me this face:

And last but not least, here is an interview with Mr. Cheese! And yes, I will admit, I do bribe him with treats and chocolate at times!!

Up close and personal

Kids can be a challenge to photograph. Flowers, on the other hand, are wonderful. Especially when they're indoors! I've discovered that I love to photograph flowers. Someday I would love to get a proper macro lens, however I will have to make do with that I have for the time being! I'm looking forward to spring and summer so that I don't have to go and buy flowers.

On the move and standing still

For a very long time, Spencer was doing the army shuffle. He refused to crawl like a real baby. Instead, he'd basically scoot on his stomach to wherever he wanted to go.

Finally a few weeks ago, he started to crawl on his hands and knees. Now instead of his entire front getting dirty and dusty, only his knees show signs of dirt. Hooray!

He's also begun to stand on his own. His record so far is about 10 seconds (he was quite proud of himself).
